scientific, healthcare, and media markets, today announced the re-purchase of

240,000 Thomson Reuters PLC ordinary shares on May 20, 2008. The average price

paid was 1650.9791 pence per share. The highest price per share paid was 1678

pence and the lowest price per share paid was 1641 pence.

As of May 20, 2008, Thomson Reuters PLC had 188,714,507 ordinary shares

outstanding. The re-purchased shares of Thomson Reuters PLC will be cancelled.
